..Le Grand Tour....

Today we took a drive ocross to Cape Le Grand, a beautiful National Park to the east of Esperance.   The area is mostly low scrubland, dominated by MASSIVE granite outcrops.

The beaches are pristine white sand and the beautify blue water.

Sam and Tracey decided that they wanted to do some beach driving while they were here, and made the best of their time at Lucky Bay.

The sand is quite firm and there is little chance of becoming stranded, as long as you don't do anything stupid.

(No, they did not get stuck)

The granite outcrops produce spme amazing shapes and textures.....

There is scenery everywhere you look.....

        ...and again....

Sam wasn't the  only one to have a crack at beach driving, Bev and I had a go as well......

...and had a BBQ lunch while we were there...

After our day at the beach we headed back to the van, and enjoyed roast chook for tea, and a rest from all the hard work...(touring can be hard)
