We have a cunning plan...

Well the time has come to hit the road again....This time we are heading to Western Australia, the plan is to travel across the Nulabor to Esperance, then follow the west coast.

Since our last big trip, we have moved house and done some renovations,  enjoyed two weddings and been granted two wonderful grand babies.   We have the same Blue Sky caravan, but have upgraded the car to a Ford Ranger.

We have had a couple of small trips with the new set-up, and so far looks the goods.  The car and Van have been professionally weighed, and we are well within specs, with sufficient allowance for clothes and shoes.....and food......and......

For the first part of the journey we are being joind by daughter Tracey, Son-in-Law Sam and Grandson Zander.   They will be travelling with us as far as Esperence, in their Navara and Jayco pop-top, before they have to go back to home and work.

Our little convoy will be departing  Mid April, and travel across to Esperence, we will be stopping at a number of places on the way, so you will have to stay tuned for the updates.

This shows a planned route, and like most travel plans, subject to change without notice......

We do not have a set itinerary, and will adjust when, where, and how long we stay, depending on what there is to see and do, the weather, site availability, and road conditions.

We are planning a mix of van parks, (depending on location and length of stay), free camps and maybe a few farm stays....... We are well equipped to cope with free camps, and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We have gone down the Starlink path, this will ensure that we are able to keep in touch with those at home, have the safety net of communications no matter where we are, and will be able to keep an eye on the News, footy and car racing....and whatever Bev wants to watch.....

We hope that we have thought of all the little things that might pop up at home, with arrangements for mail, garden, pot plants and home security.

At this stage the trip will be around 14,000 km towing the van, with additional sight seeing and side trips, so the final distance tally should be interesting, as will the fuel tally......

Please stay tuned, if you know about or find places and things to see and do along our way, let us know.
