...knocking over the kiolmetres....

Since leaving Kathering we have clocked up 860 km, over 2 days.   We stopped the first night at Newcastle Waters.  Not a fancy spot, just a wayside stop, with bins and toilets.....and 13 other caravans/campers and rooftops.

This morning we headed off towards Tennant Creek, which took us about 3 hours, arriving atr lunchtime.   We refueled the car, and grabbed a bite at the truckstop.  As there is not much to see in Tennant Creek, after our break hit the road once more.

About an hour out the road we had another break at the Devils Marbles, a remarkable natural formation.

..Well it is central Australia....

Tonight we have camped at another roadside rest area,  not the greatest scenery, but a few less campers sharing this spot tonight.

..but another great sunset...

Tomorrow we will have a bit more windscreen time, and in just 320 odd kilometres we will hit Alice Springs.  This will be a re-fuel, and a last chance to top up at the supermarket (not that we need much).   We are intending continue on through Alice Springs and will again freecamp out the road.
