Every now and then we treat ourselves to one of the many lookout spots along the coast, they never disappoint.
As you can tell the weather has been fantastic, cloudless skies, 26 degrees, light breeze......
We had a leisurely wander and lunch in Kalbarri, a beautiful spot (we've marked it as a sport for next time). We then headed out of town for the two major highlights of the area.
The first was the Kalbarri Skywalk. Twin counterlevered lookouts over the gorge carved out by the Murchison River.
The views speak for themselves....
The Skywalk hangs over the edge of the cliff 100 metres above the river bed below........
On the way to the second of the attractions Bev pointed out the twin overhangs of the Skywalk, and if you know Bev at all, also pointed out how brave she had been to walk out onto them....
The second attraction.....aptly named....

I'm not sure which was the worst, the flies....or the American tourists.....but it was well worth the hike to go and see it...
After spending our time admiring nature, we again mounted the trusty Ranger and headed for Denham. It's quite a drive from the Kalbarri National Park to Denham, and it was very late afternoon when we finally pulled into the caravan park, and set up.
