..Norseman... and a farm stay...

After setting up camp at Norseman free RV site, we elected to shout ourselves to a pub meal, at the 1930's themed Hotel.

When I say 1930's themed Hotel, I mean it hasn't been updated since the 1930's.  But the meal was good, we didn't have to cook or do the dishes.

Norseman township is named after a horse....why you ask?   Whilst travelling through the area the horse kicked up a gold nugget, and the local gold rush was born.

Of all the horse nuggets I've found....none of them were gold!

Of course like all outback town, camels played a large part in supplying all the needs of the residents, and are rememberd on the main roundabout.

As we were running ahead of schedule, we had a couple of nights to kill, before our Esperance C/Van park booking.   Tracey found a farm stay for us for the two nights.  After a quick shop for essentials in Esperance, found our way to the farm stay property.

It was a pleasure to see green paddocks, something we hadn't seen for a long while.  We settled in and enjoyed the peace and quiet of a few bevvies.
