...along the Nullarbor...
We ventured along the Eyre Highway, stopping at a number of the scenic lookouts, and notable landmarks along the way...
At one point a baby got our dingo....
Because the clifftops at Bunda are unstable, it put a halt to our plans of camping there, so we moved on.
We passed through the S.A./W.A. border, and the quarrantine station, We surrendered the few veggies that we had left, as expected. What wasn't expected was the fact that we had to discard the fire wood we had carried. We hadn'tseen anywhere that firewood was prohibited, I saddly dumpped the fire wood we hadn't had a chance to use (Bugger)
We refueled at Eucla, and stretched our legs as we checked out the old telegraph station, which has been consumed by the ever shifting sand dunes. It is a pity that no matter where you go there has always been some dim wit with a spray can, buggering up things.
We left Eucla behind and continued west. We passed throught Mundrabilla, and made camp about 50Km east of Madura. The night was cool, so having been divested of our firewood, I broke out the trusty chainsaw and soon had a sufficient supply of wood for the evening.
